How We Work

Our reasons for becoming financial professionals are deeply personal. We repeatedly saw many friends and family struggling to find the help they needed to map out their financial future. We are confident that with our understanding of personal finance, coupled with our training as financial professionals, we can help people better prepare for the future. After years in the business, we have developed a reputation for educating individuals in an easy-to-understand manner so they can grasp personal finance and use those concepts to pursue their financial objectives. Robert (Bob) Lydon

Certified Financial Planner


Bob is a Certified Financial Planner with over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. He enjoys the relationships he has built with his clients and takes great pride in earning their trust and loyalty.

Bob grew up in the Lansdale area and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1994. Shortly after graduating, Bob began working as a Financial Planner. Eventually he was promoted into management and worked as a Registered Principal for two large brokerage firms. During that time, Bob earned several industry awards including Sales Manager of The Year. His experiences during his ten years working at larger firms convinced him that the best course of action for his clients was to be in a position to offer completely objective advice without the interference of a corporate parent. With this in mind, Bob became independent and formed Falcon Financial Planning in 2006.

Currently, Bob resides in Bucks County with his wife and two children. In his free time he enjoys reading, playing Pickleball and spending weekends with his family in Sea Isle City, New Jersey.

Samira Ranganathan

Administrative Assistant



Samira has been in the financial and securities industry since 1999. She plays a vital role as the Managing Coordinator/Liaison for the Investment and Financial Planning Division of our firm. She plays an integral role in the daily communication and detailed paperwork required in opening new client accounts, while diligently handling clients’ reports, thoroughly attending to existing client requests and account updates.

She graduated with a Master’s degree in Accounting. Being an Enrolled Agent (EA) enrolled to practice and represent before Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and prepare tax returns.

Samira has a passion for travelling with her family within and outside the country, enjoys listening to trilingual music, gardening, interest in Bollywood dance and in spare time likes doing art and craft work. Samira resides in Bucks County with her husband and daughter who graduated from Swarthmore College with major in Cognitive Science and minor in Spanish.

Carcy Cavanaugh

Administrative Assistant



Carcy Cavanaugh has more than six years of experience with most recent being Administrative Assistant at Worth Advisors. She joined LPL in 2023 to apply her experience working with advisors in the Admin Solutions Program.

Carcy has received a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Marketing from University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelors in Exercise Science, Allied Medical from Brevard College. She is Life, Health, and Long-term Care Insurance Licensed.

Carcy grew up in the Charlotte, NC area. She is heavily involved in animal rescue and welfare. Carcy is currently a foster parent with Forgotten, Now Family Rescue. She enjoys hanging out at a brewery for trivia, music, bingo, or on the weekends at a dog adoption event.
